passenger door lock
okay, so my driver door handle drooped real bad, so i pulled the latch and everything out and replaced the spring so it would stand back up on its own. then i cleaned everything up real good and put it back together, and i'm very happy with it
now i want to do it with my passenger door too, but the passenger side has the outside lock. how do you pull the lock out of the door? i need it out of the way to get the latch assembly out. plus the lock doesn't work and i want to screw with it out of the truck to try and get it working.

Re: passenger door lock
On the outer edge of the door adjacent to the lock there's a locking clip that you can pull out to remove the lock cylinder. It's just behind the weather seal. If you can't locate it this way you should be able to see it by looking through the door behind the door panel. You can slide it to the outside with a long screw driver.
