Billet stuff :)

Well got my billet stuff in the mail today. Grill, Rearview mirrow, Turn single, Hazard switch, Tilt arm and the Shifter selector. Installed everything but the turn single. I have to tear down the steering wheel to do that so i'm waiting till i find a new Grant wheel i like but the new pieces look cool!!!! Post pics tomorrow.

Did you get the interior stuff from Billet Specialties? I plan to make another order from them and get some of the little interior stuff like the hazard knob and the turn signal knob. I have also been thinking about the window handles and the ohh sh*t bars. Does anyone know if the bars are $49 a pair or each? Their catalog doesnt specify.

I got my Empire Motorsports door stems today.
I also ordered a column kit w/ the tilt arm, shifter knob and the hazard switch yesterday.
I'm gonna order this in a week or two:

It's not billet but I bet you couldn't tell unless you picked it up.

I had TONS of fun getting my stock shift knob off... took me 2 hours!!!!! I have advice for you know, use a dremel with a cutting wheel and slice it down the middle, and go all the way through (you'll see sparks). It would have been so much easier if I knew that ahead of time...

Mine is just the handle end not the whole thing.

http://www.mooneyesusa.com is where you can get those interior/exterior mirrors. The only thing is the head on the mirror is plastic but the mounts and stuff are stainless but for that price I'ma get it anyway.

Okay I got the column kit all on except the damn shift knob doesn't go on the shifter arm all the way?
I could just cut it down but I'd like to know if anyone else had this problem. :

Dave you never gone junk yard shopping? That's some of the best stuff out there. Sure you have to look for it and get DIRTY (We all know you never get dirty!!) But you can save $$$ and get the real stuff not the repro's junk they sometimes sell.

BTW: Better bring your own B-12 to the swap meet. I won't have any there for you
