New from Louisville, Ky

Hey everyone, my name is Mike and I was directed to this sight by a friend of mine. I'm currently in the process of restoring a 1966 GMC Suburban. The project has been put on hold due to an upcoming surgery. So far I've found the site to be very helpful in answering some of my questions. I look forward to talking with you guys in the near future, once I am able to get back on my feet. Here is a little info on what has been done so far and a few pictures of what my burban currently looks like.

305/350 motor/trans
New floors
New rockers,
New firewall,
New cab mounts
Used a 78 chevy truck crossmember
3:08 rear end
5 lug conversion
Front disc breaks, still has drums in rear
power steering
All new wiring
All new fuel lines
Gas tank cleaned
Installed 2 1/2 in dropped spindles
Installed 2 in dropped shackles
