Lets see your DT 342y-c and plug wires and dipstick.

Here's mine with truck wires like DT recommends and the Lokar ed-5008 dipstick like DT recommends.

Stock rebent dipstick tube with fabbed bracket that bolts to head. The wires are MSD multi angle LS wires. I can get the part number tommorrow.

Are the boots touching the pipes?

Not on mine with the MSD variable angle plug boots. You can bend them to wherever you want.

I agree with Montez, those boots sure look like they are resting right on the headers in the pic for chevydog66

I don't have the DT headers, but I had one of my stock spark plug wires resting on the #3 header pipe, and I was having a high RPM miss.

I relocated the coils and made new spark plug wires that don't touch and the miss went away.

Man, I'd find another set of wires. Those things are gonna burn out fast. Then they'll be arcing off on the runners. I had one with an internal boot do it before, took me 2 months to figure out why I was losing spark on top end, eventually found a crack in the boot down inside the head. Get you some with an angle on them.

Heres a pic with part number. I went to Autozone and they ordered em for me, since they didn't have in stock. There the next day. Can't remember how much but I do know they were less than internet with shipping. Good luck.

The ends can be bent to any angle.

I got some new black MSD's today, same part #. Installed them and work good. I can post a pic later. Thanks eagle!
