New "Rust Free" Cab
LeRoy was right...darn near perfect! Very minor work on this one to get it to show quality! Many thanks to oldiron for helping me snag this cab and his wife for the coffee. What a great day messing with '67-'72 trucks and parts!

oldiron and "MY" 1968 flatbed! He has done an excellent job with this and it looks sooooooooo good after the paint job and body work! I should have never sold it! Really hurts kicking yourself in the butt like that...all the way home. Just kidding...it went to a great home and I was just going to tear it all apart and make a hot rod out of it anyway. Got other trucks for that now.

Is that a '56 Chevy I see in the background, or am I mistaken?

Congrats on a nice find Mike. I haven't met Oldiron yet, but LeRoy is a great guy too and helped me with the tranny and transfer case for the Blazer you found for me. Hope you guys are enjoying the weather there. I'm outside Guam right now and I can tell you I miss the cool air right now. Its hotter than blue blazes here. Keep us updated on the progress of your new project. Jeff.

I grabbed a cab this weekend too, little surface rust and a couple of dings. It's a 71 Super a/c and hi hump. I also got the doors with the chrome vents, there nice and a new rear bumper with brackets and lic frame. Guess it was a good weekend.

oldiron has an outrageous shop with lots of goodies hidden in there. Not seen the picture is his Burby and many other toys and tools. I really like his overhead lift that will allow you walk under the the truck and work while standing...too cool. Pictured is his wife's daily driver that we borrowed to snag my cab...very cool hot rodding family. BTW he also has vicious attack dogs that love his trucks and parts as much as he does...beware...LOL!
I'm looking forward to the Monroe swap meet where I will attempt to serve free burgers to all the '67-'72 board members that show up. LeRoy is talking about having a booth there...how cool would that be? The Monroe spring meet is the best of the year in my humble opinion! I'm shooting to have my '67 stepside there...without the body work complete of course!
