Lower A Arm Bushing Problems
So I ordered a set of lower control arm bushings for my 1/2 ton c10 last week from LMC.....When I went to put them in I noticed they had "threads", but not like the originals.....they were barely there and I could not get them to thread in!!!! So then i looked at the boxes the came in.... They were made by Three 5 auto.....then on the plastic they said Huong Sho motor co...... I was like great I got some Chinese knock offs. So I went to Napa and ordered a set from Master Ride..... almost the same thing except these look like they have relief cuts or something!!!! My question is.... are they all like this??? And if they are how did you guys get yours in???
Huong Sho is the first pic Master Ride is the second |

Re: Lower A Arm Bushing Problems
Mine looked like your second pic and they screwed in ok. I couldn't turn them by hand, but they weren't difficult with a socket wrench.
Try them on the shafts first. They have to turn easily there. Ray |

Re: Lower A Arm Bushing Problems
i had the same problem, to fix the problem, buy moog. expensive, yes. go together like cake baby. no binding, no cross thread, easy fix. i did what you did and returned it all and bought moog.
