Re: What is this?

Is it on a 6 cylinder engine? My 6 cylinder engine has one on the manifold and I think it was part of the carb linkage when the engine was in the '70 Chevelle. Then engine is now in my '67 swb stepper and has truck linkage.

Re: What is this?

Yeah it's a 6. If I knew where the casting numbers were I'd tell you exactly what 6 it is. I know it has a Monojet

Re: What is this?

If it is a 250 it should be on a small flat surface behind the distributor on a the block. Here is an example of the number:V09030CCC. This is the number on the engine in my son's car. I think it is decoded as a 230 L6 from a Carmaro with a 3 or 4 speed.

Re: What is this?

Well I'll check it out in the morning. I may need to rebuild the carb or try to figure out how to adjust the float cuz whenever I come to a stop it dies unless I tap the gas
