Tilt steering shaft too short.
I pulled a tilt steering column out of a 70-75 gm van because the ignition is on the dash like my blazer. The problem im having now is the steering shaft is too short and not even the machine shops in my town will touch it to make it the right length. What have others done to make this work? Pictures would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Tilt steering shaft too short.
Use the intermediate shaft from your original column. Drill the nylon pins out and collapce it to the right length. WES
