6 cyl. exhaust manifold studs
What size should the exhaust manifold studs be where the exhaust pipe buckles up? trying to locate brass nuts and not having any luck. Thought they were 3/8-16 but they don't work. Any thoughts?

Re: 6 cyl. exhaust manifold studs
My engine is a 250 L6. My stud nut and bolts are 9/16. I broke one off and had to pull my manifold off and clean the whole out and retap the whole. Pain in the butt. I got the stud bolt at O Reily's.
I see you live in Prosper. I'm in Denton. Tell about your truck. Mine is a 69 C10 long bed with a 250 L6. Hugger orange. Good luck. Last edited by Sonicman; 09-05-2010 at 08:18 PM. |

Re: 6 cyl. exhaust manifold studs
Was my wife's truck when she turned 16. Been on the farm for the last 34years and it looked like it. Just got it back from the paint shop and now the fun begins. 1970 Short bed step side trying to go back to close to original
