CL Find is this REALLY a shortbed as stated?
Please let me know as I am interested if it is indeed a shortbed.
And yes I will contact to confirm. But he keeps some very odd business hours, might be a part time operator? lol Also on shortbed they only have 4 total stake pockets correct? And looking at the wheels in the photo it looks like they are 8 lug as in a 3/4 ton, more shortbed would be 1/2 ton correct? http://stlouis.craigslist.org/ctd/1948158082.html

I saw that ad. I was wondering the same thing. It doesn't really look short to me but it is at a wierd angle.

No factory 8-lug shortbeds... may have been converted, but I can't tell from that pic if it has 8-lugs.

Re: CL Find is this REALLY a shortbed as stated?
It's over a hundred miles from me and trying to contact the owner/dealer by phone and ask him some questions to see if it is indeed a long or short bed truck.
He'd had to come down on the price before I would consider making a trip up there to look at it anyway. Thanks for all the great responses. I know it's hard to tell just by the one pictures he has posted. And 68shortstep - I see what you mean! But has to be a BIG center cap and not a 4x4 locking hub.
