Re: Anybody tried this stuff?

Saw this on Stacey David's Gearz the other day and wondered about the durability myself.

Re: Anybody tried this stuff?

i'd try on something inexpensive that you really dont care about it's lifespan and give it a longterm test in real world conditions to see if it will standup to the test of time and use

saw staceys infommerciial on it too but he is just a car version of billy mays or vince // will front for anything if the price is right

Re: Anybody tried this stuff?

This was posted in the blazer forum a while back: http://www.67-72chevytrucks.com/vboa...d.php?t=415794

Don't know how much that link helps. I'd say go for it as long as the valve covers aren't an expensive set...but that's because I want to see how it looks...post pics if you go through with it!

Re: Anybody tried this stuff?

After seeing this in the Blazer forum I got some the next day, I sprayed it on a piece of V.W. engine tin [chrome] and it looked killer so I decided to do the stainless bezels on my van. It didn't have the same effect on the stainless as it did on the chrome, it also was easily scratched on the SS as opposed to the fairly durable finish on the chrome.
FOLLOW DIRECTIONS: too many coats and it will look like gloss black, 2-3 light, uniform coats gives a killer effect.
