anyone ever seen this before?
This guy i know has about 7 of our trucks and millions of ole parts. i stumbled apon this hood ornament. He told me its original and very hard to find and that it was offered on some trucks or something. looks rite though because it sure does follow the hood lines.

Re: anyone ever seen this before?
My vote: not original... Hood ornaments weren't offered on this vintage. Don't know what it is off of...

Re: anyone ever seen this before?
^^ I agree. Maybe a dealer installed them on request, so he thought it was factory?

Re: anyone ever seen this before?
Back in the day, all kinds of aftermarket hood ornaments were offered for people who thought their car or truck looked too naked without one. You can find bunches of them in old J.C. Whitney catalogs. Your ornament is probably one of those.
