Re: drop spindle question

I had the same thing on one of my spindles. I thought it was normal, but it would be interesting to know if this is why one side is sticking out a little further than the other side within the fender well.

Inquiring minds want to know...

Re: drop spindle question

I would say this is definitely a problem did you contact the manufacturer? What brand are they? Do you both have the same brand?

I would definatly send them back dude. This is not an area to skimp on. Hate to say they'll probably hit you with a restocking fee too. Text book case of dealing with AIM. By the time you pay the restocking fee and shipping you could've went with a better spindle. Hopefully they'll take care of you though. I would still get my money back and buy some WC, DJM, Belltech, ect. Just think, if they're quality control can't catch off-center tie rod holes and spindles that are not pressed equally in the knuckles, theres nothing keeping the guys inspecting the castings from sleeping on the job too.

Re: drop spindle question

I'd call back and ask for a supervisor, and advise him that word of mouth is the best advertisement you can get. And that you have explained your problem on a truck forum with thousands of members reading it daily. And see if that won't encourage him to take them back and replace them. Wouldn't hurt.

HA! this is from their "about us" page:
Quote:
Shipping Information:

Enter information about how long it takes for orders to be filled from your store. Use a conservative estimate so you set buyer expectations accordingly.

Refund, Returns and Cancellation Policies:

Enter details of your refund, return, or cancellation policies (if any). Provide instructions for when and how buyers can get a refund, return merchandise, or cancel an order. Review the refund policy of other stores to get an idea of the different approaches and then create the policy that works best for your store.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Answer any questions that buyers are likely to have such as how they can check an order’s status, how can they contact you if they have immediate questions, or what shipping options your store offers.
I guess they aren't done with their "DIY" webstore!
