difference between 67 & 77 12 bolt rearend

I have a 77 chevy 12 bolt rearend with 373 gears. But my parts truck for rear trailing arm suspension is a 67 chevy 12 bolt with 411 gears. What Im wondering is if the gears will interchange? Id like to use the 411 in the 77 rearend. Any other differences like width or axles? Thanks in advance!

thanks, the 67 is a 6 lug rearend. So idk if the 77 axles could be shortened a little and fit in the 67 housing to get the 5 lug pattern? Just trying to figure out which way to go.

The gears and differential case will swap, but not the shafts. I don't think the shafts have enough spline length to allow them to be shortened. You could pull a shaft from each and compare them.

Innerds will swap. axles are the same spline. Just keep the shafts with the housings they came from.
