Super T-10 info..??
I'd been doing research in the forums but no luck, can't find useful information at all. What I'd like to know is that is it possible to install one of this transmissions behind an I-6 engine? If so, what parts should i be looking for? Also, what would be better, short or wide ratio, my truck currently has a 4 speed granny-low with 3.07 rear end.

Re: Super T-10 info..??
You want the widest ratio you can get, especially because of the 3.07s. You need the lower first gear to get it going. It won't be super low like your granny gear transmission, it's actually a usable gear.

Re: Super T-10 info..??
Any ST-10 for a GM app will bolt to your stock bellhousing. If you get one with a 26 spline input shaft you will need to replace your clutch disc. If your bellhousing is 68 or later you will need a centering ring, which is about a $30 part, or you can make it yourself if you have access to a machine shop. Besides that, you will need to replace or modify your driveshaft if you are replacing a truck type 4 speed.
A wide-ratio version would be the best match for your 3.07 rear. Ray |

Re: Super T-10 info..??
ok thanks, do you guys know how to identify a wide-ratio ?? Is it by the number of grooves in the input shaft. A 3.42 first gear ratio should be enough right?

Yes, count the grooves on the input shaft. A 3.42 ratio will have 6 grooves.
