Need ideas/photos single rear wheel flat beds
Bed is crunched on 67 3/4 ton 4x4 I'm picking up. Not against finding a long bed for it, but am thinking about building a flat bed for it. I'dd assume some here have done it. Got any photos, plans, good points/bad points?
Thanks. |

Re: Need ideas/photos single rear wheel flat beds
I built a flat bed for my short plow truck and it has some advantages. It works as a moving bench and is good for hauling tree limbs, etc. Since it is a snow plow, looking over the flat bed when backing up is a whole lot easier then trying to look over a tailgate!

Re: Need ideas/photos single rear wheel flat beds
Here are a couple of pictures of flatbed trucks I have saved, none are mine.
One of the guys on here built a bed for his truck out of wood. His thread can be found by doing a search, I am including a picture of his truck.

Re: Need ideas/photos single rear wheel flat beds
Here is mine. I have done a lot of work since the pics so excuse the mess. I guess I need to get out and take some new ones.
Bed was painted with Rustoleum rolled on. Also the truck is flat black now.
