They keep following me home....I cant stop!
I was offered this truck a few years ago but I declined because it was a 6 cyl. Well.....between then and now the price has changed way more than enough to justify the V-8 conversion its going to require to be a member of my fleet. One family owned...Grandpa, Son and nephew. Almost no rust at all....a little surface rust in the bed. Surprise surprise it came with a valid Georgia title also. Has been sitting in a barn in Blue Ridge, Ga.

Gorgeous old truck. Too bad you are going to ruin it with a V8...

WOW!
Very nice truck. Is it a 250 or a 292 6-banger?

Re: They keep following me home....I cant stop!
Just the way I like to find them. Great looking truck. There is a few left out there. Getting harder to find. Keep us posted on your up grades. I recently purchased a 70 GMC with 72,000 original miles. It is equipped with a 6 and 3 spd. I hate 6 cylinders but it is a low mileage original I hate to change it to a v-8. Good luck with your new project.

Re: They keep following me home....I cant stop!
DAMN, I agree with the stance change. IMO, Keep the I6 and spend the money for a v8 and go with a supercharger.

Re: They keep following me home....I cant stop!
If you part it out, I see some nice parts..I'll take those ugly ol nasty white bumpers, and the dinged up crappy short bed. Just joking, you should go buy a lottery ticket tonight.

Re: They keep following me home....I cant stop!
Drop? Really? I mean, all due respect it is your truck, but it looks PERFECT to me. I also agree with keeping the inline 6, I am keeping mine in my old truck and about to buy another old truck just like it with and inline. Those won't be too plentiful some day in the near future.

Yep.....it does look GREAT the way it is!!! The neat thing about having a bunch of these trucks and a pretty good inventory of parts is that you can change them up on a whim at little to no cost. It also can be lowered, raised, V8 swapped, power steering added, power brakes added WITHOUT altering the truck to where its not reversable at ANY time. Nothing I would do would hinder it from being put back to stock if someone desired. Lets remember here there is no cutting involved in anything mentioned. Everything I said I was going to do can be done in 1 day and put back in the same amount of time. I look forward to the day that these trucks are so rare that an inline is as desireable and a V8 but we need to remember that "not too plentyfull some day in the near future" doesnt make it valuable now or then. Now with that said.....as mentioned above....if there is anyone who really wants to save it from being ruined???.....EVERYTHING is for sale and delivery is available!
