Accel Kool Blue vs. K&N Air Filters

...which one's better? I'm leaning toward getting a Kool Blue one because, of course, it matches my plug wires and other stuff...

but they're expensive! Give your thoughts.

I've seen the kool blue in the catalogs but not in person....just a note on the K&N's...Summit racing sells their brand of reuseable filter for about half the price of the K&N's....I have both a Summit filter and a K&N filter (on two different vehicles) and you really can't tell the difference in construction or appearance between the two.

just my .02!

I wonder, if you got a Cool Blue filter and then later re-oiled it with a red K&N renew oilkit, would you get a purple filter?

They both are the same besides the name. They are both made out of the same material.

I have a K&N now on my daily driver but will be getting a Kool Blue because of the color on my hot rod. I think they are pretty much the same.
