Just bought this Great 72 almost restored need some ideas.

I just bought this truck and its almost complete. Not much left to do but I need some ideas for the interior. It didn't come with seats so what looks and works best. I have the bed its getting painted now and I do have a new grill just need to install. So mostly looking for ideas for the interior and anything you may think would look good on this truck...Thanks for all ideas.

I like the flames on the inners. Sweet truck. I think a nice set of black buckets with green inserts would be cool.

Looks nice. First thing I would do is get rid of all the green, Especially the flames on the doors.

Black & white traditional bench seat is my vote

You could put a milk crate in that rascal and it would still look great.

Truck looks great!!!
I'd incorporate the green as mentioned into at least the stitching on the interior if not piping. Newer 99-07 chevy trucks are used often but there are many bucket options out there if you're going to recover them. Or find a nice bench. Depends on your needs and the overall look you're wanting.

MWilliams: google "Classic Dash.com" i think thats the name it should get you close... they have several options for autometer filled cluster, empty clusters, or partials... or check out classicparts.com for factory looking replacements

Don't overdo the green, a stock seat covered in black and black door panels would be nice!

X2! Keep it simple and clean, you may want to change the paint one day.

Great Idea! especially if you are going to cruise at night...
Maybe a windshield too......to keep the bugs out of your teeth, cause I know you will be smiling while you are driving that beauty
Looks nice so far can't wait to see it on the road.

My vote is black leater with black suede inserts then big green stitching kinda like a baseball glove stay with a stock feel and custom at the same tine maybe digital gauges

if it was mea i would keep the green inside the engine compartment and maybe accents in the interior but respray the lower doors/fenders solid black.

Nice truck, I think a black bench with green plaid inserts would look cool

Re: Just bought this Great 72 almost restored need some ideas.

I like the artistry, but I don't care for the green. It's one one of those things that you either love or you hate. The truck is real slick, tho. I cant imagine how someone would get it to that point and sell it, but things happen.
If it was me, I'd figure out how to get rid of the flames on the door, and do away with the green on the engine. I think the inner fenders are cool.
Black or saddle interior with the green out of the picture and it would be really sweet.
But if you are one of those people who really likes the green, roll with it, but know when it sells (and eventually everything does) you have to find a "green" person to buy it....but will be nice with green interior as well, just not my "cup of tea" JMO
