Re: 22's On an 81 stepside?

ok so after reading those N2TRUX said BTW- If it's not a square, don't post it. ( don't know where all the apparent stepside hate coming from. :P We are classic too.) And also the second thread seemed to be a much older stepside. Where the rear fender might be the problem. It seems that there is plenty of room in the rear (maybe i'm wrong) 1981. I was mostly wondering if i have to modify the innerfenders up front or what my year model would look like Stepside with this done I don't wanna slam it to the ground. Just a moderate drop. I'm new to this so be kind

hey buddy! just wanted to point out that there was a number of post that were taken out of that 1st thread. N2TRUX made that comment about other vehicles. it had nothing to do with stepsides. no hating bro

Re: 22's On an 81 stepside?

Its easy... We put 22s on my friends with a 40 series tire and did a 3/3 drop. Plenty more room to go lower in the rear, the front with that tall of a tire you would have to either beat in your fenders of just remove them. 22s with a 35 series tire would work the best, no reason why you couldnt go 4/6

The most important thing, is the backspace of the wheel. Or offset which is what most people refer to.
