12 bolt questions

I was looking at strange engineerings website and i was wondering if any one has used the 33 spline carrier and the s/s series 33 spline axels. my other question is can an aftermarket carrier and aftermarket 30 spline setup withstand 500rwhp

Re: 12 bolt questions

I can't answer your question concerning the 33-spline stuff, but I can tell you that I'm running a set of Moser 30-spline axles and spool and this stuff has lived in my 4000+ lb. truck for at least 12 years dealing with the kind of power numbers you're looking at ( and then some with the spray). Like Kevin said, though, if you can afford to make the switch, a 9" is an attractive option.

I've been running right around that power level for two years on the street, with a couple trips to the track...M/T drag radials the whole time on stock 30 spline axles, and an Auburn diff.....zero problems. FWIW.
