12bolt rear end strenth?

just picked up a 67 with a 4" front 6" rear drop. with no motor......here inlies the problem. ill be putting out about 700#lbs at 1500-2000 rpm with my engine swap. how long should i give the rear end? just curious lol. will go d70 or 14bolt ff when the time comes but that will mean i have to get 8 lug up front and buy new drop spindles. so i thought id run what i got for giggles.

Re: 12bolt rear end strenth?

it'll handle some power with some better axles w/o c-clips...but sticky rubber and hard hipowered leaves could .....severely alter the internal components.

Lemme guess, Cummins swap?

Ditch the 12 bolt, forget the Dana70 and slap a 14 bolt or H072 under there.
