Input please on this paint scheme

Thinking very seriously about this paint scheme. Second picture is a poor modification using Microsoft Paint. What do you guys think of the chrome trim vs the painted front end? Secondly, what is your best guess on the lowering scheme? Thanks for any input.

I like chrome. To much brown in the lower one. Not enough accents. My .$02.

Chrome don't get you home, but it sure looks nice! The rest of the paint scheme looks nice. Looks about like a 4/6 drop.

Imagine that... I'm going to dissent

I say #2. But only after you swap the front end out with a '67.

paint scheme

I am going with a full chrome front end on my GMC Jimmy. I like them both actually, the second pic makes the truck look sinister. My .02. In the end it's what you like most not what anyone else thinks. Dan

being a 67 owner I have always thought the crome front end on 72s could be lightened up a bit, you could go with a painted roll pan and the chrome grill, maybe do something to lighten up the headlight bezels, could you use 67/68 ones? nothing better than the best of both worlds!
my 3 cents
Jesse
