Now this is a crew cab!

In Oregon, on craigslist...not mine, would be if I had a spare 13 grand.

Damn, that was quick.

For the record it's supposed to have a Cummins 6BT and get 16mpg!

Re: Now this is a crew cab!

So did they put a quad cab dually cab & bed onto a C60 chassis & front clip to build that or did Chevy ever make quad cab C60's?

Probably had to shorten the frame a few feet as most C60's I have seen are somewhere around 26' long.

I thought there was a build thread on here a while ago that was something similar. Can't find it now or remember what it was called. Maybe this is that truck.

Re: Now this is a crew cab!

Notice how the front doors have steps but the people getting into the back are on their own to figure out how to get in.

i remember posting about what looked like an old ryder truck with a stretch cap and alot more doors.... like 4! it also had a dually bed, but it was not shortened
I looked around a bit: here is the link:
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...87#post4144787
it spawned alot of good pix of stretched trucks.

From what I've read before, the cab for those trucks is different than the regular cab. I'm pretty sure I've seen factory crew cabs on the road, but, I've also seen pictures of somebody welding on the back half of a crew cab to a regular C60.

I saw a thread somewhere where the guy showed what was needed to fit the C60 front clip to a regular square body cab. It wasn't too much but there was some work to it.
