Did any 292 or other inline trucks come with factory A/C pre '67 ??
Looking for pictures of how the comp. may have been mounted

I'm going to run ac on my 292 in my 48 but am going to aftermarket air with the smaller compressor. I haven't tried to hunt brackets for that yet though. This one looks a bit complicated and doesn't allow for the use of an Hei according to the add.

1963 had a pressed steel bracket, same as the passenger car. 1964 changed to a cast bracket.

Thanks for the replys guys , We are planning to mount a compressor on my sons truck for air supply and just wanted to see how GM didit, I think I can fab up something a little cleaner with less interference. Just gotta find a dual groove water pump pulley now

As in Air Compressor? Not A/C compressor? Gm trucks came with an air compressor for air brakes as well. Same location different bracket.

the harrison fridgidaire long compressor works great as an air compressor if an oiling loop is included , been doing it for years on my service truck
