longhorn relocated!

Got it moved to the shop today! (dad's happy, it's out of his yard now)
Had to push it on and off of my friend's trailer, but it was all worth it.

(Hmmm, what's that black mark in the lower right....some one been doing burnouts at work? )
Couldn't get my son to stay out of it either. He loves the ilt wheel...says it is fun.

I'm glad you focused on having 4 matching, nice hubcaps before you got it running.

Just kidding Andy. Good to see that assembly speed up some.

That would have sucked! The trailer has a winch on it. Althoguh, I did have to push the truck back and forth a few times to get it to line up properly. And since the drivers side tire sticks out a little further than it should (had a drum off of a daully truck) that made it a little more interesting. I doubt the 2 of us coulda pushed that tank up on there.
It was kinda fun rolling it off though!

Yah thats what I was kinda thinking, I had a hard time pushing a 2 door s-blazer up a tiny incline with two people :p

How much do you figure that whole truck is gonna weigh in the end, 1 ton with a caddy, ouch.

I dunno, but I plan on passing over the scales soon after its on the road. It won't be much more than stock, a caddy motor weighs less than a chevy big block.
