New Drip Deflectors
I finally got around to putting the new drip deflectors on last Friday. We had a decent rain on Saturday and it didn't seem to get inside. My left knee may have a happier winter this year.
I put a generous bead of black RTV silicone on the inner half of the deflectors before I put them on. It seems to be a good seal. |

Re: New Drip Deflectors
I haven't put mine on yet. They go under the weather strip and I already glued it on. Think I'll wait until the glue is acting crappy then do it. Hope they keep you dry and pics would be great!

Re: New Drip Deflectors
Here are the pics.
You can put them on without taking off the weatherstrip. I didn't move mine. In the second picture you can see that there's really not much contact between the weatherstrip and the drip deflector. The third picture shows how I left the RTV kind of fat where the gap is between the windshield frame and the top. Last edited by truckster; 11-02-2010 at 08:12 PM. Reason: Added pics |
