"Swinging" tailgate
I have a 1969 SWB stepside C-10, and I am interested in modifying the tailgate to make a swinging gate (with hinges on one side -- open from right to left). I have seen some pictures of this modification, but I have not seen any details about how to do it. Anyone have any experience making this change?

Re: "Swinging" tailgate
Seems like you could just hijack a set of AstroVan rear door hinges and make it work. Just leave the chains on for looks.
If you want the hinges hidden...then....uh....post pics so we all will know.
