Question on window regulator install???
I have two new (repro) doors and a box of used regulators and door/window hardware. I did not take the old windows out and I am trying to install everything in the new doors. Help! I have most of it together but it kind of jams near the top. The regulator seems like it is to tight. It seems like it is tight up against the inside of the door. Is there some kind of spacer? The truck is a '65 Chevy.

Re: Question on window regulator install???
If the window is in the channels then the raising of the window i assume would adjust the regulator handles out as the window goes up. Maybe i am not following. You could try some washers to adjust regulator out if that is what is needed. I have gotten so reproduction stuff before that bolt holes were off on.

Re: Question on window regulator install???
Could it be that the window channel felting is not seated all the way?
