Need some tranny crossmember id pics inclosed..

Can someone tell me if this is a auto or manual tranny crossmember thanks..

I say automatic since I have cleaned and painted one myself. However, I have never seen a standard member before.

same one i have on my frame. came off a 1970 c10 auto with turbo 350. bolts up to my 700r4 no prob.

Like Alex I have never seen a manual one either, but the one you have in the pic is the same as mine with a 400.

this is for the three on the tree trans crossmember...it sits further forward towards the front before the cab mounts

the 67-72 GM 2wd manual transmission trucks have the cross member under the bell housing and the trans just hangs on the bell housing. the 4wd cross member looks a lot like the auto cross member, but it goes under the trans-to-transfer case adaptor.

i have both the auto cross member and the 4x4 cross member but have not compared them for differences.
