1978 cab - NICE!

1978 Texas 2 wheel drive bare cab. Cab had factory air conditioning. Perfect rockers and cab corners, small spot of rust on the floor where drivers heel rest when foot is on accelerator pedal. Have new sheetmetal patch for that area that is included in price. Also comes with tilt column and matching intermediate shaft, wiring harness, and under-dash hvac setup. If you have a rusty cab, this is for you. Asking $450, local pickup only. My zip is 55448

I have a rusty cab and I'm in MN, so this must be for me. Do you need it out of your way immediately or could you store it until spring? I'm out of room at the moment but if you can store it and we could agree on a price, I could pay now and get it later. Let me know.

Re: 1978 cab - NICE!

I can store it, as long as you can give me a approx pickup date and pay for it now. PM me what you are thinking.

Re: 1978 cab - NICE!

I'll PM you later after I've woken up a little more. Waking early to the sound of a snowplow is no way to start a weekend.

Re: 1978 cab - NICE!

Sorry, man -- still interested but haven't had time to send you a PM. Got hit with that winter storm down here and power was out for 9 hours yesterday and I've spent today cleaning up downed branches and patching the fence back together. Just came in to make supper and will hit you up later tonight once things have settled. Sorry!

Thank you, too! If that tilt column happens to show up somewhere in a dark corner, I'd still like to get that. Not a huge deal but looking back now I'm reminded that it was supposed to be part of the package.

It was, but like I said...I must have sold it at some point...forgetting it was going with the cab. I will keep looking though, or try to find one locally. I could refund a portion of the purchase price too if it helps.

To be honest, it was one of the things that sealed the deal for me last fall, but by the time spring rolled around and the snow had melted I forgot what all was supposed to come with the cab. If you happen to come across one that'd be great, but I don't need a refund. Certainly not a hurry or anything.

Do you need a tilt for a manual trans or auto?
