Re: WTB - Steering wheel / 69-72
I like to restore steering wheels and I have a stash of decent ones that I can paint any color and I already have the correct ppg 510 medium blue paint. It's kind of hard to compete with the fair prices of the repop wheels but some folks like the look and feel of the originals. I've been picking up used wheels here and Ebay and haven't found one without cracks for a reasonable price yet. If you would like to go that route I would do it for $150.
I wrote a how-to in the tech section that shows pics of a black wheel restored to blue.

Looks sharpe. So you epoxy repair and paint? Its going in a 4x4 Blazer, I'm kinda wonder if it would last with all the extra rough driving.

Yep, epoxy repair and paint. I use single stage acrylic enamel with hardener. I could see the potential to get chips or scratches if you were real hard on it.

Here is the wheel you asked about. No cracks or damage. They repaint real well if you use epoxy primer and a good auto paint w/hardener.
