Hi G. I'm curious about that burb front end on your truck. I know the grille and headlights are changed but what else? I've seen a conversion kit for sale somewhere. Is that the way you went or did you piece it together yourself? And does the core support have to be changed too? Boog.

Boog,
I have the complete installation story and parts on my web page. Go here http://www.geocities.com/abetterchem...rillchnge.html At the bottom of the page you'll find a link to a page that has price comparisions between the dealer parts and aftermarket parts. I paid less than any kit available in any magazine that I've seen. Yes the core radiator core has to be changed. My webpage has some detailed pictures for you to view. The converions requires more work if you have a 73-80 truck. The 81-87 trucks are easier to convert to the 88-91 gril. Post back on this forum if you have any questions. ------------------ Gerardo 1983 Custom Truck TX Plates: "BAD BOW" http://www.geocities.com/abetterchemist/ |
