Question Sending Unit for 73-81 Blazer/Jimmy/GMC Truck?

Folks,

I got a gas tank to put under the bed of my 67 chevy pickup, and it is the following:

-----------------------
High quality Ni-terne plated steel gas tank with 3-year warranty
Applications:1973 - 1981 Blazer (fullsize), Chevrolet Truck, GMC Truck, Jimmy (fullsize), Suburban, 20 & 30 series, 2500 & 3500 series, rear mount, conventional cab
Features: Small filler pipe 1-1/4" ID, Depth of bottom half 3-1/2"
Capacity: 25 gallons
Dimensions: 28-3/4" x 28-1/8" x 10-3/4"
Original Part Number: 475428
Packaging: Boxed
Part Number: GM-15A
-----------------
The problem is - Nobody can tell me what sending unit to get!! I have been told 2 different things - one is Part #SUFG12D,
and one is part #FG12Q (which is not in stock anywhere)!!!!

If anyone could give me an idea where I can find it, or any more information, it would be great!!

kevin67c10,

You can get the sending unit from www.jcwhitney.com www.cheyennepickup.com, www.lmctruckcom or www.lmctruck.com

Are the part numbers you have listed the factory stock?

GM had MANY part numbers but I really believe the original number was 642390 with 4 outlets. the group number is 3.107. try calling a parts store now that you have a parts crossrefernce number. DAVE
