Sending Unit for 73-81 Blazer/Jimmy/GMC Truck?
Folks,
I got a gas tank to put under the bed of my 67 chevy pickup, and it is the following: ----------------------- High quality Ni-terne plated steel gas tank with 3-year warranty Applications:1973 - 1981 Blazer (fullsize), Chevrolet Truck, GMC Truck, Jimmy (fullsize), Suburban, 20 & 30 series, 2500 & 3500 series, rear mount, conventional cab Features: Small filler pipe 1-1/4" ID, Depth of bottom half 3-1/2" Capacity: 25 gallons Dimensions: 28-3/4" x 28-1/8" x 10-3/4" Original Part Number: 475428 Packaging: Boxed Part Number: GM-15A ----------------- The problem is - Nobody can tell me what sending unit to get!! I have been told 2 different things - one is Part #SUFG12D, and one is part #FG12Q (which is not in stock anywhere)!!!! I believe those are the stock #s..

GM had MANY part numbers but I really believe the original number was 642390 with 4 outlets. the group number is 3.107. try calling a parts store now that you have a parts crossrefernce number. DAVE
