70 Chevy with 79 (original?) miles on it.
Have you seen this? The video doesn't appear to be recent, but it's still pretty cool. It was posted on the Stovebolt board.

I watched two videos clips of that truck, on this site. It's neat to find one with so few miles, but honestly...it ain't for me.

Did it sell today? I work downtown and was thinking about going over there this afternoon, but didn't make it?

I hope it went to someone who realllly appreciates trucks simaler story i read in hot rod magazine a couple of years ago of a car museum in Nevada that closed and they had a rare blue 70 Chevelle ss convertible it had like 250 miles on it, it once was a drag car if I recall but the buyer said he was gonna drive it till the wheels fell off I thought that was a shame but, hey to each his own i guess

Re: 70 Chevy with 79 (original?) miles on it.
I watched the auction on tv, and it didn't sell. It was bid to $24K and didn't meet the reserve. If you are familiar with that auction company, they have a feature called "the bid goes on." That means someone can still negotiate to buy the vehicle after it has failed to meet the reserve.

I remember when they found that. I was just like......good god why couldnt I have come across that. A couple of my buddies that live in Wamego went and took a look at it at the shop that had it. They said it was pretty epic.

That thing belongs in a GM museum. Seems like a shame that it sold so "cheap". I Sure don't think you could build one with NOS parts that cheap.
