So after a long day at work....

Do go out an work on your truck under the lights?

Or hit the couch and say there's always the weekend

Re: So after a long day at work....

Since it is raining up here in San Jose, I grabed a cold one and ploped down on the couch! But it depends on what needs to be done. I have to swap out my hubs and those will have to wait till this weekend, it is suposed to be nice.

Re: So after a long day at work....

not often, but kind of the same thing losthope said. I have the 64 truck (which has turned into a big project) a 55 Pontiac (will be running in spring) and a old ratty house that could always use something
I work late, but sleep late as well, so I guess I can't complain

Re: So after a long day at work....

I worked 12 hrs yesterday, got home, turned on the lights, worked on the truck in low 30deg weather, then went inside, ate, showered, took a 4 hr nap, and now back to work for another 12 hrs.. tonight I will go home and drive it

Re: So after a long day at work....

I don't make it into my front doorway until about 11pm at night, so getting changed, a bite to eat, and out to the shop takes me until about midnight. I've really got to be feeling good to get out to the shop after work, and even then I have to be on my way to work by noon, so I can never stay too long. While I am stuck on this shift my shop time is pretty much limited to the weekends.

Edit: forgot to mention, my shop is about 10 miles from my house so it is not just a walk out into the garage effort for me.

Re: So after a long day at work....

get home from work about 1145pm kick the lights on and crank on it till bout 3a then shower nap up at 8-9 and back at it. but thats what you get when you have 3 projects going yourself and anywhere from 3-5 buddies needin help too. hey i look at it this way my truck is a love and an addiction and i just cant seem to quit her. and currently i dont think they have a rehab for gearheads. lol and even if they did i sure as heck wouldnt go!
