BBC's with power brakes - pics anyone?
Hello,
My truck did not originally have P/B or a big block- and now it has both! The previous owner installed a brake booster out of god knows what and it seems to be much larger and mounted differently than stock. I originally used 73-87 SBC towers that I modified to mount the BBC, but I wasnt happy with the results (motor sat too high). It now has correct towers and mounts, but it hasnt changed much in relation to the booster Sorry, this is the best pic I have at the moment I dug this hydoboost setup out of a junkyard, but I have all sorts of modification to do in order to make the brackets, etc work. I would also need to have it rebuilt/refurbished. The motor has still not been fired and im going to pull it this weekend to break it in on the dyno. Would it be cheaper/easier to buy the correct booster? Can I see some pics of yours?

Hey I have one bad pic of mine on me now, I can get some good ones tomorrow at home but you can see how it sits nice and tight on the side of the photo.
My truck is the same way, it started with neither a BBC or power brakes, but now both! The PO actually put both in though, not myself.

This is a tall deck (10.24 in ) motor and with those valve covers the stock booster just doesn't fit so I went with a 7 in dual diaphragm booster from Carolina Classic Trucks.

Here is my 70 I added the 402 and the power brakes. All from 67-72 doners. I used 72 towers and mounts and mounted motor in original location. The boster is from a 3/4 ton (dual diaphram)
