this is a driver mount right?

what years does it fit? my motor is a 78 305 out of a malibu with a ps steer pump. this wont interfere right?

As long as it has a "short" water pump on it now,... it will work.
Your '78 305 was originally equipped with a "long" water pump.

That's a long water pump.
All the pulleys and bracket have to match the water pump.

well that sucks..whats the difference between the 2?

the passenger side alt bracket i have on there no wouldnt fit without a bunch of washers and spacers, which is why i thought the motor i got it off of was long, and the one i bought was short

All the pulleys will be different as well as the P/S brackets, A/C brackets, and alternator brackets.
Chevy cars last used the short water pump in 1968.
Chevy trucks last year was 1972.

This altternator bracket for sale is correct for your suburban.
You just need to get all the other stuff to make it work.

well i already had all my pulleys powdercoated lol

i used all the pulleys off the malibu motor, except the power steering pulley which is off the motor in my truck

i have an alternator bracket for a long waterpump it mounts on the pass.side it will work with your pulleys and long waterpump i have all the bolts and the bracket let me know if you want it i will take 25.00 shipped
