Updated truck pics, future plans!
Hey guys,
I have told a few guys that I would post updated pics of my truck. Well I pushed it outta the garage today and snapped some pics(only Iphone quality). A lot of little things have been changed on the truck since I acquired it just under 10 months ago. Anyways I still have very big plans for this one. In the immediate future the truck will be lowered along with some other suspension pieces. Wheels will be ditched in favor of a set of billet 20" wheels most likely in a 5 spoke design. In the near distant future the trucks complete drivetrain will be replaced with a lsx/60e combo, but for now im just enjoying the truck for what it is. I threw in some interior pics since I don't believe I have posted any before, and to also show the factory radio in the dash. The truck currently has a hidden cd player w/6disk changer along with a sub under the seat. And the last pic my car snuck into lol so anybody have any killer wheel suggestions? not sure whats going to work on this particular paint scheme???? |

Ever seen a pretty girl who insists she's gonna make herself "prettier' with some sort of nonsensical cosmetic surgery?
Same goes for your truck. It's gorgeous and nothing you can do to it will make it any prettier. Save your money......it doesn't need a thing. |

Re: Updated truck pics, future plans!
Thanks a ton guys!!
72blkbuty, The truck is gonna be dropped another 2" F/R...static of course. 72SuperCheyenne, Thanks, some vintecs would look very nice. Im almost leaning towards a set of TT2's in 20"s but man there is alot of torque thrust out there, hell I have em on my Z28!! Those Intro Vistas sure are sexy!! 69 Okie Truck, Thanks, Your not the first person I've heard that from. As much as I like the truck now, I can't imagine it sitten lower with some fresh wheels. The truck is 90's vintage right now and I'm trying to change that, and it is slowly getting there. Like I said, I enjoy the hell out of this truck now so I'm not gonna blow it apart by any means, baby steps, baby steps is what I keep telling myself, lol |

The Vistas are an excellent looking wheel, definitely an option for me on a 5-lug setup.

Re: Updated truck pics, future plans!
72blkbuty- The truck is dropped with coils front and rear right now, It's the angle of the pics and the way the truck is parked, the truck looks lower in person.
I don't think I could go another 4", but with bags and enough money anything is possible. I originally bought this truck to be my first air ride cruiser but I've since had a change of plans and bags are pretty well outta the question for this truck. |

Re: Updated truck pics, future plans!
yea hopefully once the spindles and drop blocks go in, I'll be right around 4.5/6.
That drop on these trucks is hard to beat in the looks dept,, doesn't look much better than that unless you bag it. |

Re: Updated truck pics, future plans!
I wouldn't call it Vintage 90's. I'd call it vintage...period.
We were running around in trucks like that back in the 80's. I'd say the look has stood the test of time....at least for the last few decades. Gorgeous truck tho'. It's gonna be mighty tough to top what you already have. All the best in your endeavors.... |

Re: Updated truck pics, future plans!
Thanks for allthe replies guys,
The reason I somewhat call it vintage 90's is because the style of wheels/tires the truck has on it along with the old 350/700r combo, along with the "hearbeat of america" seat covering. Nothing bad, just reminds me of the mid 90's even though I was only a teenager then. lol |

Re: Updated truck pics, future plans!
Thanks alot DZL1, now I've got an idea on how the truck would look with that setup, and it looks good I might add.
Thanks for taking the time to do that. |

Re: Updated truck pics, future plans!
I think your truck is perfect just the way it is. The taller sidewalls on your current set up look a lot stouter than the low profiles. Of course, it is your beautiful truck to do with in any way you see fit.

Re: Updated truck pics, future plans!
Thanks rsavage, I kinda feel differently about the sidewalls. I like a lower profile, "sport truck" looking sidewall compared to the 70 series tire. just my preference.

Re: Updated truck pics, future plans!
Your truck looks great but will look even better with the lower stance and new wheels and tires. I think TT II's in either 17, 18 or 20 would look great on your truck. Go with the 20's if you have the coin but 17's look great as well.

Re: Updated truck pics, future plans!
I like the way it looks as is. But if you want to get rid of those "90's vintage" wheels you can toss them my way!! I would lower it and run a shorter tire on the front and i think it would look great then. Just my 2-cents. Joseph
