Need some measurements please.
Okay, so I'm trying to figure out how to make something work on my '72 burb. Any help would greatly be appreciated!
For the second row I need the measurements for the distance between where the bracket ( u shaped bracket that holds the seat back in place) on the side of the seat back mounts and the side of the interior cargo panel. I'm trying to see if I can use that setup on my seat, but I'm not sure my seat is as wide as the square body burb second row seat. Also can I get the height of the second row flip seat bracket from the floor to where it mounts on the seat bottom? One last measurement. The distance between the second row leading edge and the back of the front seat. Thanks in advance, I appreciate it. I know it can be a pain. Shawn Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Need some measurements please.
Your not missing a thing. That is exactly what I'm trying to do. I am tying to see if the setup off the squarebody burbs might be able to work. I can make the stock seat back flip down, so if I can find a way to secure it in the upright position, then I just need to flip the whole seat forward when I release the seat back to lay on the bottom cushion. Again hopefully using the brackets off the squarebody burb.
The third row seat will be a different animal altogether though. Shawn Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Need some measurements please.
Is anybody available to bust out a tape measure and check those measurements for me? I would be very grateful. It will help me figure out what I need to do to make this happen.

Re: Need some measurements please.
I'm out of town for a while so I wont be much of any help. If I see one at a lot or something while I'm out I'll see if I can get ya some measurements. My sister has a nice '72 but her interior is all leather out of an '03 I think, but if I see her I'll take a peek and see how hard it might look.
I wish you knew someone close to you that had one so you could do some side by side comparing, that would be ideal for sure! |

Re: Need some measurements please.
If no one else does it for you, I should be able to sometime later in the week. I currently don't have the stock second row seats. I am carpeting and sound deadening, and once that's done the stock second row seats will be getting put in, and I could do a measurement then.
