180 watt stereo am fm radio that is repop of original
I don't know if you guys know it, but they now make a repop AM FM stereo radio that looks and fits like the original. It is 180 watts(will have to upgrade speakers to accomodate wattage). Comes with RCA jacks on the back to recieve a CD player, I POD,or XMradio. The only thing it does not have is the word Delco on the lens and the push buttons are sharp edged instead of being rounded off. The case is only 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" x 8 1/4" long, which leave room for a stronger speaker in the dash. The slide bar works both AM and FM as it normally would. Has excellent stereo qualities, with beautiful chrome and knobs. I got mine from Mike Hagan Antique Auto Radio Repair. www.mikehaganantiqueautoradio.com

Yeah,Hagan converts any radio like that. You take him yours and let him do his magic. You could have him do that to an am radio.
You just wouldn't have the fm dial, but could use 5 preset buttons for fm. I didn't know they now make a complete repop now.

Re: 180 watt stereo am fm radio that is repop of original
I got one for my 70 longbed that's being restored. It looks JUST like the original ( except for the delco script like was said) I had only seen a picture of the front of it when I bought it so I was surprised when I opened the box and saw it was only about 3 inches deep. I also bought a speaker for the center of the dash from him that is a new design too and supposed to have a great sound when combined with this radio - I'll let you all know when it gets installed.
