heater problem 2006 Silverado

Any of you have problems with the heater fan. I'm freezing my butt off. 2006 Chevy Silverado cab fan motor has been replaced, Wiring harness as well--worked for about a week and now I can't get the fan to even turn on again. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: heater problem 2006 Silverado

What harness did you replace, The one to the resistor pack/blower control Processor?

The resistor pack/blower control Processors give alot of problems on these trucks.

Do you have manual HVAC or automatic HVAC?

I will second that: The resistor pack/blower control Processors must be replaced when the blower gives up. the higher amp draw from the old motor causes resistor pack to fail soon after the new fan motor install if not replaced when the blower was replaced. its good to fix it right the first time as it saves me that mental trama after.
