dead battery

so i go to start my truck that i havent driven sence friday night and the battery is dead. the only thing that has changed is i had to run a new wire for my plower motor because the wire that goes behind the fuse block was bad and i installed a new sterio in my dash. the new wire runs stright to the battery and so does the radio.

Re: dead battery

I had a similar problem once. I installed a new radio in my 67 only to find the radio had a short that caused a 750ma draw that drained my battery after sitting fo 2 days. Drive ur truck around then if possible park it for 2 days after removing the stereo power wire don't worry about the blower it requires no power when not in use. Then try and start ur truck.may isolate the problem.

Re: dead battery

your radio have presets or a clock? If wired wrong it will kill the battery
