Wheel back spacing question

Ok, I already have a call into Nate but I'm inpatient and want to order these wheels now! (Verde Madonna 6) LOL

I have the Porterbuilt dropmember and trailing arm set up.

Nate told me, I could run a 20x8.5 with a 5.25 back spacing on the front and a 22x10 with a 5.5 back spacing on the rear.

The wheels I found are 22x9.5 with a 6" back spacing....this is where Im confused.

Is the 6" measured from the back of the wheel to the hub? or vice versa, the front of the wheel to the hub?

Also, being that these wheels are 9.5 and not 10....would that 6" back spacing work or would that be going the opposite direction?? LOL Or did I just explain this a$$ backards and confuse you as much as Im confused??

THANKS!!
