Re: 3" dropped spindles

The 3" spindles are not theirs specifically, they just sell the product. I did not find the specific application, but everything I saw was DJM brand. If it were me, I would look in the vendor marketplace here. Forum vendor "NORCAL SS" has a thread offering to beat any advertised price on suspension components- LINK

Re: 3" dropped spindles

Make sure your ready to run some larger diameter wheels. I think you mite have clearance issues if using 15'', but dont know for sure. It's tite with 2.5'' spindles.

Re: 3" dropped spindles

It depends on the width and backspace of the wheel. A 15x7" will clear 15x8 or wider might require you to clearance the A-arm a bit.

Re: 3" dropped spindles

Thanx Prortrash64 & N2trux that is some of the issues I was wondering about as I want to run Chevy rallys 15+8's. What issues are you looking at if you bag it with that size wheel...Vernski

My 'burb is bagged with 5-lug Rallys and there are no clearance issues...again, 2.5'' spindles. Like creep mentioned, I too had to grind a slight amount off of the drivers spindle, on top where the caliper fits, to clear the wheel.

Re: 3" dropped spindles

Holidays are going good
It is supposed to snow here again tonight But NOTHING like the east coast is getting. I hope things improve for them.
The news showed some ugly situations for the travelers that are stranded there.

I took out all the chairs and stools out of my garage , I get more done if I am not sitting down.
Bubba

Re: 3" dropped spindles

I have 3" DJMs on my truck. I am using the factory steelies from a 92 C/K and I had to grind some of the spindle down for clearance. I also had to grind some of the spindle away to get the passenger side brake caliper on.
