I've got rhythm!

Yeah, I've got rhythm, but it depends on the speed I'm going. From stopped to about 25mph I get a squeak-squeak-squeak out of a front wheel that increases with speed. It does seem to go away as speed increases, but at low speed it kinda sounds like a steam engine...squeaking with a rumble grumble between squeaks.

So, is this wheel bearings or brake pads? If I go in to do either of those, is it worth just doing both bearings and pads?

kinda hard to tell from here but im betting its brakes.... but when you do brakes you should inspect and repack your wheel bearings as a matter of maintenance

Re: I've got rhythm!

Hey guys, thanks for the input. I paid closer attention to the noise this morning and it stays the same whether I'm on the brakes or not. I'll take a look at it this weekend and see what needs doing.

Thanks!

Re: I've got rhythm!

Check your dust shield, it might be bent and causing the squeak.
