Re: Camaro Tach

While a cool idea to bring a stockish looking tach to our trucks. It just looks so out of place.

Like I said, it's a cool idea. The needle doesn't bug me as much as the gauge face, lettering and font does. Probably cost just enough in time and effort as it would to spend $50 locally to someone for stock truck tach cluster.

a tach truck cluster is hard to come by and is way more then 50$. also the truck ones only go to 5k. i have high performance built motor im easily out of that 5k range. for a stock truck. youd be fine with only 5k tach

I like this setup. Is it possible to swap the needle on the camaro tach with one from our trucks speedo? I see that the needle may be to short but if they are interchangeable you can always add a piece to it before its repainted.

Re: Camaro Tach

This will be the route I go. Looks as good as the factory tach cluster (IMO) and its po' man friendly.

Re: Camaro Tach

I have seen the camaro speedo used in our trucks also. I don't know what was done to make it work.

Re: Camaro Tach

Not too bad of an idea really, I dig it more than the 5" autometer thats hanging under my dash currently.
