Leer Cap/Topper 3rd brake light help
I've got an 01 Z71 and put a Leer cap on it. The 3rd brake light is a multi-LED thingy, and a few of the LEDs are out. Any ideas? Leer essentially told me to pack sand (the distributor, haven't been able to get in touch with the co yet).
Just wondering if anyone has run into this. So much for LEDs lasting for 50 bazillion hours.... |

I put a Leer on my 99 when I bought it new. Brake light went out for the first time a few years ago. Went to the Leer dealer, didn’t have one in stock, so ordered one. Cost about $30 as I recall, but don’t quote me on it. Sealed unit, can’t replace individual LED’s, gotta buy the whole thing. No big deal. You need to find a different dealer!
