Help
how is the best way to change the motor mounts. I have the new mounts man there cheap. Any way the motor is out of the truck do u take the stands out or wat looks like it can be done multiple ways just want to have a idea the best way to do this? thanks in advance

Just put a block of wood on the oil pan so you don't bend it, loosen the nuts, then push up to remove the weight of the mount, and replace.

super easy if the motor is out of the way. just pull the brackets and bolt the new mounts on.

definitely not that easy. i tried it, and finally got it done, but what a PITA. i had to remove the entire bracket that the mounts are bolted on to. then trying to get the motor lined back up again without an engine hoist...pshh forget it. let's just say i'm very glad i was able to get it back together.

I didn't even pull the brackets. I was lucky enough to get to do the driver's side 4 times, though. With the engine out of the way, it's easy to get your hand to the backside to catch the nuts.
