Howdy from Texas
Hey guys and gals. I came across this site from a google search.
I've got an old 1976 Chevy C-10 Scottsdale. Just found out today that it's the "Sport" package. It was my Dad's work truck from '77 or '78 until I bought it from him in 91 or so. I drove this thing all through school (Sharpstown) I'm kicking around the idea of resto modding it, as I had already replaced the 250 with a mild 355 in 94 or so. It's a total rust bucket, and honestly wouldn't be worth restoring other than sentimental value. I'm gonna have to take an automotive/welding class at the local JR college to figure out how to repair the Cab rust. The rest is no big deal..unbolt, and replace! hahaha Anyway, not really likely to start on it anytime soon, just checking out all the neat trucks here and trying to talk myself into it with a lack of funds. Re: Howdy from Texas
I thought of that, but want to keep the orig VIN, so rolling a different cab on is out.
